Teresa O. Beeker, a native of the Carolinas, after working as a contracts, licensing and patent attorney for 21 years in Philadelphia, has returned back to her homeland. A Morehead Scholar, and graduate of UNC- Chapel Hill, she earned her B.S. in Biology. She then received a special fellowship to study breast and colon cancer at the National Institutes of Health, where she published several research articles. Enrolling in University of Florida, she received two Masters degrees, one in Biochemistry and one in Molecular Biology, before relocating to Philadelphia. She then earned her law degree from Temple University School of Law and became a patent attorney, representing a number of pharmaceutical and chemical companies ranging in size from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.
She is married to Ed, a retired military officer and professor at West Point, now at Wofford College - a highly decorated artillery officer. She has two teenage children and a step-son. She enjoys a number of outdoor activities in the upstate region - waterfall hikes, and kayaking and fishing in the lakes of Spartanburg and Greenville Counties. In addition, she also enjoys sewing, quilting, knitting and playing the piano.
She looks forward each day to working with her clients – helping them sell and purchase their homes and properties.
